BREAK ON THROUGH WITH PHIL BARONE AND THE CRUISERS

A JIM MORRISON TRIBUTE CONCERT TO BENEFIT THE SANDUSKY CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

Phil Barone and The Cruisers are a Jim Morrison Tribute band hailing from Toledo, Ohio. Barone being the front man has always felt connected to The Doors lead singer Jim Morrison. “When I put on the leather pants, snakeskin boots, the belt buckles and the poet’s shirt on, I go into the Lizard King world.”

This tribute concert will include an opening act by singer / songwriter Mikey Blue performing his original blues compositions. Phil Barone has opened for many well-known bands like Jefferson Starship, Foghat, and Thin Lizzy and packed the house in Put-in-Bay, Ohio for over 14 years! Guests can expect to hear many of The Doors greatest hits. Plus, a few songs only serious Doors fans will remember. Along with lights and special effects provided by the Wet Sun Light Show.

Proceeds for this tribute concert in Sandusky will go to The Sandusky Children’s Museum, which is a new children’s science museum located in downtown Sandusky. “It’s a win-win situation. That’s a cool thing – we give the money to charity and we get to entertain people,” Barone said.
