Since 1928, The Sandusky State Theatre has been an area landmark and continues to serve as a top entertainment destination for the entire Erie County region.

The Sandusky State Theatre has been in operation for 83 years and has served the community in many entertainment capacities functioning as a top Vaudeville theatre, movie palace and as a world-class performing arts center.

featuring Mark Gridley, Brian Lange & Michael Shirtz Quartet

Mark Gridley is an active jazz musician, music educator and renown jazz historian/author. His works and writings have been translated into five foreign languages. His articles appear in the Grove Dictionaries of Music, Encyclopedia Britannica, Musical Quarterly, The Black Perspective in Music, The Instrumentalist, and Jazz Educator's Journal. His critically acclaimed textbook JAZZ STYLES has been a mainstay in jazz education for colleges and universities for nearly two decades. His jazz flute playing is both lyrical and unique as the influence of historical studies and knowledge are captured in his sound. It is an honor for Shirtz to work once again with Gridley.
