LATECOMERS

As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, patrons who are not seated when the performance begins will be asked to wait in the lobby until an appropriate break in the program. When possible, latecomers may be seated by the House Manager in available seats at the back of the auditorium.


DISRUPTIVE PATRONS

Patrons of any age whose behavior is not appropriate will be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be given once the curtain has gone up and the show has begun.


CAMERAS AND RECORDING EQUIPMENT

Because of copyright infringement, for most performances all cameras, tape recorders or any other recording devices are not permitted in the theatre. Please check with the Box Office or House Manager to see what the policy is for the performance you are attending. Offenders of this policy may be ejected and liable for any copyright infringement damages and other lawful remedies.


PAGERS, ALARM WATCHES AND CELL PHONES

Please silence your pagers, digital watch alarm and cellular telephones before the performance begins.


SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted in the restrooms, theatre or foyers at any time. Smoking is permitted outside of the building in designated smoking areas only.


THEATRE CONCESSIONS

A concession stand is located in The Sandusky State Theatre forecourt and will be open beginning one hour prior to the start of each performance. For certain performances bar service will be available with locations in The State Room and on the balcony level of the Theatre. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the theatre auditorium with the exception of water in plastic bottles.


RESTROOMS

Restrooms are located on the Orchestra Level in The State Room and on the Balcony level. Baby changing tables are in both restrooms.


COAT CHECK

Coat Check is available on the Orchestra Lobby.


WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

Wheelchair and handicapped seating locations are available on the main level of the theatre. Patrons needing to take advantage of these special seating locations are asked to telephone the Box Office at 1-877-626-1950 prior to the performance.


CHILDREN

It is strongly recommended that children under 6 years of age not be brought to the theatre except for family events specifically described as such by the performing organization. In any event, all patrons, including children and babies, must have a ticket for admittance.


PARKING

There is parking available behind the Theatre and on the surrounding streets as well as in the 3-tier municipal parking lot at Columbus Avenue and Market Street. Please allow yourself plenty of time for parking prior to the start time of the event. The Sandusky State Theatre strives to start all performances on time.


PERSONAL APPAREL

The Management is not responsible for personal apparel or other property of patrons. Patrons are advised to take wraps with them whenever they leave their seats. Lost and found items may be claimed at the Administration Office, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.


EVENTS

The Box Office hours on Event Day will always be open 1 ½ hours prior to curtain time and will remain open 30 minutes after curtain time.


FIRE EXITS

There are numerous, convenient and clearly marked fire exits from all areas of the Theatre. Note the nearest exit as you take your seat. In case of emergency, the ushers will direct an orderly exit.
